Solano County

Solano County has been an important part of Dave’s practice of law.  In April of 1989, the firm which was later to be known as Gaw Van Male (GVM) opened an office in the “Wiseman Building” totally dedicated to estate planning, with Dave being the sole attorney present in the office.  For about the first 10 years of his practice in Solano County Dave was the only attorney drafting living trusts.  Over the years the firm grew and GVM in Solano County practiced law in many areas of law.  Since 1989, Dave continuously practiced out of the GVM office until he split off from Gaw Van Male in November 2018 to create the boutique estate planning law firm, Gaw Estate Planning.

With this background, one can see that in Solano County, Dave has done extensive legal work in drafting basic estate plans, handling trust administrations when loved ones pass away, and doing Elder Law planning to protect client’s assets from the potential devastation of an unexpected nursing home stay.  Dave has drafted hundreds of estate plans, administered a significant number of trust administrations and continues to be a leader in the practice of Elder Law in Solano County.
